innerbrat noticed the Grauniad reporting on the phenomenon of religious motivated home eduction, and its spread through the UK I was gratified to read two nice articles in today's "Life" section. In "One side can be wrong", Richard Dawkins is arguing against teaching Intelligent Design in schools with his usual eloquence.
There's also a nice list of arguments in evolution that are worth having, Cambrian explosion, sociobiology, genetic drift, etc. You know, ones where there is evidence on both sides.
In the same issue, Vivienne Parry (you remember, the one on Tomorrow's World who didn't marry Keith Chegwin) asks "What have guinea pigs ever done for us?" Which nicely buggers up the anti-vivisectinist's usual cant.
